Shelby got her bachelor's degree in Health Sciences from JMU in 2018, then went on to get her PTA degree from GCC in 2021. Her clinical focus is around individualizing treatment so her patients are engaged and able to reach their specific goals to get back to what they love. She has experience in various patient populations and is particularly passionate about patient education in pain science and movement-based treatment interventions to promote functional activities in her patients. She enjoys yoga, running, and going on adventures with her furry best friend, a sassy border collie/corgi mix named Millie, who is scientifically proven to be the cutest dog in the entire world.
